Our students are amazing! Here are a few of their comments about the fun they had getting empowered with The Girl’s Guide to Web Design.
The Girls Guide to Web Design course has has given me invaluable tools for my small business, but also inspired me in ways I never could imagine! I was tired of having limited involvement in both the design and maintenance of my previous websites and wanted to take control. I knew this course would give me the tools to do that. What I didn’t know is that it would also bring out my inner geek and that I would love all the technical bits and coding. I had a blast! The course makes it all so clear and easy, so no worries if there is no inner geek.
So many things to love: Amanda’s inspirational success story, the Facebook support group where I learn more everyday, updates for life. I signed up for the course at a time of great stress and transition in my life and it was one of the best things I ever did!
I’m not even sure where to begin with how much Girl’s Guide to Web Design has done for me. After years of teaching myself, watching dry, overwhelming online tutorials, even contemplating going back to college to learn how to code, Girl’s Guide suddenly landed in front of me and I signed up immediately. I completed the course 6 months ago, and I currently (finally!) have my own web design business with a 2 month waiting list of clients. The “gurus” on the private Facebook page are endlessly supportive and brilliant. Amanda makes everything easy and fun, while weeding out all of the “fluff” and driving home the important skills. And having lifetime access to the videos has proven to be such a valuable resource that I refer to over and over. Thank you so much for offering such incredible, valuable content!
The Girls Guide to Web Design was one of the first big investments I made in my business. It is so amazingly informative without being overwhelming. You walk through the program and you’re actually doing things along the way. Before you know it you have a fabulous site ready to rock the world. Amanda presents the information in such a fun and casual way it keeps it from being overwhelming but it also is incredibly informative and empowers you to do some really cool stuff with your website. This especially handy for DIYers since no one knows what you want better than you do.
When I signed up for The Girls Guide to Web Design, I did so with a touch of trepidation. I’d tried to learn HTML (and a touch of CSS) on my own already (several times, actually!) and, well… let’s just say I’d gotten too frustrated to have much luck at it. (Divs & margins & floats, oh my!).
I really (really!) wanted this course to be different for me, but wasn’t sure that it would be. I wasn’t sure if these things were just beyond me. (I was actually kind of afraid that would prove to be the case).
Long story short, not only did I learn that they’re definitely *NOT* beyond my technical abilities (WOOOOO!)…. I also realized that learning via video based training is spectacularly helpful for me. I cannot express how much I love having Amanda, on video, describing (step by glorious step and in full color, folks!) what to do, how to do it, and why. SUPER helpful!
Not only that, but being able to go back to the course & look for something specific that I may have forgotten is incredibly easy. I do that all the time
Then the Facebook group? Forget about it. The folks in the group have saved my back-side a number of times. I love the feeling that I can ask about things after exhausting my Google-ing abilities, and know that I’ll be pointed in the right direction.
THE BEST THING I’VE DONE IN A LONG TIME!!! I tell EVERYONE that! I recently graduated and have gotten more out of this course than I did in school! The GG2WD has enabled me to take my design to the next level and my clients LOVE me for it!! Amanda and crew make everything SOOOOO easy to learn and fun too! And if that’s not enough….being a student also gives you access to the best support I’ve found yet! Amanda or one of the Student-Gurus always responds really quickly to every question which is AWESOME when you have client’s depending on you. You can bet I’ll be first to sign up for any other courses Amanda creates! THANK YOU for making this super informative, awesomely easy and the best part…. fun!
This site is the first site I built while taking Amanda’s course – The Doctors and contact I worked with here are VERY happy and LOVE it!! Thanks GG2WD for makin’ it happen!
I LOVE my new web design business! I am so glad I took this course – I may have had a bit of html & WordPress knowledge before I started but the GG2WD is what gave me the kick I needed to launch my own web design business, which was something I had always wanted to do! GG2WD gave me both the confidence and the hard core knowledge that I needed to start offering my services to clients – right away.
I signed up for GG2WD in February, launched my Biz in March, PAID OFF THE COURSE WITH MY FIRST JOB in April (woohoo!), and already have the month of May booked up! Yup It’s only been 3 months as I write this, and I’ve already made over 3 times as much as I paid for the course! No joke. I’m now going with the flow, gaining more interest every day, & totally IN LOVE with working on my couch, in the coffee shop, or wherever I want! ♥
I’m so happy I took this leap of faith.
If you’re someone who already has some web design knowledge and want to start your own biz, Amanda will definitely fill in the gaps for you, and give you the support, knowledge & confidence to do so.
I am still in the process of perfecting my new website (it has had a few major upgrades and changes recently to reflect the big steps my business has taken) but I am so grateful for the skills and knowledge (and help) that TGGtWD has given me. I have the ability to communicate exactly what I want to and to build a design that matches the one in my head exactly – no fudging, making do or compromising. I love the flexibility of being in charge of it myself and able to alter my site whenever I want without having to wait for designers or programmers or the budget to afford them. I also love being able to change or design a new website whenever I add something to my business, I’m never limited in my scope and I’m instantly (well almost…) empowered to advertise my new endeavours to the world. It has also inspired new phases of my business and design and made me brave enough to try my hand at graphic design and extend my practice in that direction.
I am so grateful for such a clear, easy to follow set of instructions and such a dedicated group of troubleshooters.
I have suggested the course to several of my artistic friends wanting to establish their own websites and wouldn’t hesitate to give the most glowing of recommendations.
In the future I hope to spend more and more time developing my skills online and in the meantime I will finish redesigning my artist website!
I was skeptical when I first read through the Girl’s Guide to Web Design site. I had zero background in anything web techie. After all, I was a CPA – not someone talented enough to build a real live website. Fast forward four months and I launched my very own custom blog design shop. Amanda has a natural ability to break coding down to the basics and make it – brace yourself – interesting! Thanks to this course, I found a calling I didn’t even know existed. I do a thousand cartwheels every time I think about it. Well, okay, not really, but you know what I mean!
Words cannot even describe the magical feeling I had each time I sat down at my computer to embark on yet another chapter…another video! There is something truly awesome about actually WANTING to learn vs. HAVING to learn (as we do throughout much of our childhood and into our adult years – unless we are lucky enough to actually ENJOY certain subjects in school).
My career has been diverse, dramatic, and adventurous…and I am one of those people who just can’t stop dreaming about what I want to do next. The Girl’s Guide to Web Design has literally made my dreams come true. For YEARS I had envisioned utilizing my creative and technical skills in a manner in which I could actually make a living…and from the comfort of my own home (or anywhere in the world). However, the amount of information out there (including the risk of stumbling upon a gimmick) is so overwhelming! Thanks to Amanda and her amazing support team, I have now obtained the skills and resources to create websites that are beautiful, professional, and most importantly, unique!
Amanda’s teaching style is comforting, well-paced, and light-hearted; and her passion for empowering women to learn skills that would otherwise be intimidating comes out in every video throughout the course.
From a support standpoint, this course is top-notch! In my opinion, the support alone is what makes the cost of this course the best money I have EVER spent! I am amazed at how knowledgeable, helpful, and kind Amanda and the three support gurus are with each and every question.
I took Amanda’s “The Girl’s Guide to Web Design” last year and enjoyed every detailed minute of it. I found Amanda’s fresh approach and well-illustrated methods stirred a creativity in me I didn’t quite know I possessed (as a math and science kinda gal). I’ve recently been very focused on launching a new business and in the interest of saving time decided to use a premium theme for my web site instead of building one from scratch. But what I found is that because “The Girl’s Guide to Web Design” is so thorough and so well indexed, it is extremely helpful as a resource whenever I run into a stumbling block. The in-depth approach to this course – as well as the ongoing support available – has proved invaluable regardless of any theme I’ve chosen to work with.
I’ve just learned that Amanda is launching a “Girl’s Guide to Graphic Design” and I can’t wait to learn more about it. The topic in of itself is a draw but when taught by someone who by virtue of her good nature *feels* like your own trusted girlfriend, well, that just adds an element of fun. So to all you gals – and guys – out there, come join Amanda’s circle of influence and prepared to be inspired!
The GGWD came along at the right time after months of searching for a way to create a web page for my retail business. I had gotten a few quotes, and begun the process with a local web designer, but I was always worried that he wasn’t really getting me or the style of my business. I knew what I wanted and I was feeling very frustrated that I didn’t know how to get it.
When I stumbled across GGWD online, I was IMMEDIATELY impressed with Amanda’s style and approach to learning, it totally gave me the courage to try and create this website myself, I thought maybe I could actually do this..
It was a very enjoyable process, a big learning curve, and with each little milestone I was feeling pretty good about myself and what I was creating. The course felt very personal and I always felt like Amanda and her team were interested in my process and they were always there with an answer and suggestion when I needed it.
I would highly recommend this course and definitely have done already to friends that are interested in feeling out this area of design.
I am so ready for some more graphic design knowledge now and I feel very confident that Amanda s style will again work for me.
I’ve worked in marketing for 20 years, launched some fabulous websites with talented developers and I’ll admit it, I thought I was the online queen. I had the lingo down, I knew some basic HTML and espoused the benefits of writing SEO laden copy that converted. So, after my son came into this world, I thought, “Aha! Here’s my chance to start my own ecommerce project.” I knew I wanted to use WordPress and stumbled through the free tools to create a really average online presence – nothing like the gorgeous branded, dynamic and flexible website I was lusting for. Devastated, I resigned myself to thinking I would need to find thousands of dollars for a website designer, and spent hours perusing pretty portfolios that were completely out of my budget.
Somehow, during my search, I stumbled across The Girl’s Guide to Web Design and I just knew I had found my solution. The course has guided me through the basics of WordPress development that I couldn’t grasp on my own. Being a new mumma, I loved that I could tinker at any time that suited me, and I soon found out that my prior website knowledge was just the tip of the iceberg. Even though I’m in Australia, I’ve always had prompt responses to my questions, and nothing’s been too tricky for these gurus.
Sadly, I’ve had to put my website project on hold for a few months, but I know that whenever I’m ready to launch, all I’ll have to do is remember my passwords and Amanda and her team will be there to guide me through. If you’re yearning for your very own unique, stunning, and functional piece of the cyber-pie to become your online representation of your business, then The Girl’s Guide to Web Design will make your heart sing!
I’m a creative type. Not overly tech-oriented. But oh-so eager to learn. And I had big dreams when I bought my domain. I saw a cool site with a bold & funky design & cool fonts!!! Only problem was: I just didn’t know how to get what was dancing round my imagination to out into the world.
I tried to sort out web design on my own, but came away more confused than inspired!!! I thought that I was just one of the creative types who was hopeless at html & css!!! And that I was never gonna turn my creative dreams into reality.
Luckily, I found the Girl’s Guide to Web Design & all that changed for me. The course is step by step and easy to follow; everything is explained so that anyone can understand!!!
And it opened up a whole new world of possibility, inspiration & creativity for me!!! Whatever I see in my imagination I now have the “know-how” to make it happen!!! I feel inspired & expansive, knowing that I can create beautiful websites for myself (or others if I want).
The greatest gift this course has given me is self-confidence & creative courage. Thanks for helping me make the leap from being a tech challenged creative soul to a web design superwoman!!!
Hi Amanda,
I found you somehow from far Germany a few months ago and I really love the gg2wd course! Especially the way you teach us so that I always get the feeling: Ok, it looks a bit difficult but I can manage that- and I do!
Although I don’t have that much time presently I accomplished so much. And I appreciate the supportive facebook group- its an outstanding community helping and supporting each other all working on their projects.
For me you are one of the modern leaders- creative, inspiring and motivational with a lot of glow! THX for giving us your knowledge, webdesign is real fun!
I’d been wanting to learn web design for a loooong time but all the courses I saw just looked really boring, if I’m honest. I first came across reference to the Girl’s Guide to Web Design through an article Amanda wrote on Design Sponge about CSS. I followed Amanda’s trail via Better Than Chocolate web design until I stumbled across the GG2WD website and fell in love. I lusted and longed after the course, knowing it was exactly what I wanted to do, but I just couldn’t afford it at that time. Still, I kept sneaking peaks over the following months until finally one day Amanda launched the Jetsetter course. This coincided with another bit of fate in my life at that time and using the small bit of savings I’d squirreled away I decided to invest in myself and signed up for the course. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I now have a portfolio career as a creative freelancer. When talking to people about the different things that I do, the one service they always pick up on is the web design. People are always really interested and drawn to it. I feel really proud when I show them the site that I designed which I feel really defines me. I want to increase the amount of web design that I do for my clients and GG2WD has given me the confidence to do that. By having this valuable skill to add to my portfolio I’ve been able to escape the office and work completely for myself as a freelancer. As a result of this I’ve been able to relocate from the city to the countryside to run an organic market garden (alongside my freelance work) – another long-held dream. Thank you Amanda – and the rest of the GG2WD team. You helped me to build my skills and fulfill some of my dreams! Not bad for a online web design course, eh?!
I struggled for years (longer than I care to admit) to create a website that had the functionality and style that I wanted. I couldn’t figure it out with a premade theme and I had no idea how to code (it looked like a foreign language).
I was ecstatic when I came across GG2WD. I had no doubt in my mind that this was the course for me. Amanda turned scary technical computer stuff into easy to learn (and fun) steps. I finally learned how to make the website that I wanted. I also learned how to make graphics, which has helped me create elements for my website and even my blog.
The Facebook support group has been amazing! Anytime I can’t figure something out on my own I simply give a shout out to the group & get feedback right away. The students are helpful and inspiring. We’re all in it together and it feels like we’re one happy website coding family.
The fact that Amanda was able to teach me how to code is astounding! It feels empowering to know the tools to create beautiful websites. Instead of hiring a designer, I invested in me and learned how to become a designer. It was one of the best investments I’ve made.
I haven’t been a complete novice to wordpress before I came across Amanda, but investing into this course was one of my best decisions in 2013. Amanda got me instantly hooked with the videos, and I literally sucked up all the knowledge she shared within a few days. Problems that took me ages to solve on my own were now dissolving themselves, and even if there were some things I didn’t get on the first time, there is also always the amazing support in the fabulous Facebook-Group for members available. The principles you learn in the course can be easily adapted to the theme of your liking – no need to stay within the recommended Thesis-Framework if you have something you like better. I can recommen this course to anybody, from beginner to pro. The only thing I regret is that I haven’t found it earlier – it would have saved me so much time and headaches!
I had so much to say that I just devoted
a post on my blog to the course. I believe in it that much. Here are a few words from it…
“I don’t remember how exactly I first came across the Girl’s Guide to Web Design, but I’m so glad I did. The course gave me the knowledge of HTML, CSS, and just coding in general that I needed to bring my blog to life…It absolutely changed the way that I was seeing my blog and what it does…and what I wanted it to do and be.”
“My creative juices were definitely set free when I started the course. It’s THAT empowering.”
I had a dream of making a beautiful website. A place where I could show the world my work. Except I had no skills when it came to making the website. Well, enter the Girls Guide To Web Design. Now I’m not struggling anymore. I get this now. I know what I’m doing! I have a gorgeous website that I built myself, and I have the skills and the courage to keep going. And, if that’s not enough, knowing that I have a place to get the answers and help if I get stuck is a huge relief. Being able to create and maintain the website of my dreams has been so amazing. Thank you GG2WD!!
Imagine being a business owner for 6+ years and always wondering how you could take your business to the next level and have more freedom in your professional life.
Then imagine always dreaming of having a skill that combines your creativity with your business acumen and your love of helping people.
Then imagine being able to take that skill to make a career for yourself, ANYWHERE YOU WANT!
Imagine that you get help other people doing the same by designing their website so they can unleash their power, creativity and help others in their lives.
See a theme here? Amanda’s genius idea is now paying it forward so we can ALL benefit, go after our dreams and setup our lives the way we want. This is what GG2WD is all about. It’s not just a course. It’s a movement and more importantly, a supportive community in which we all get to support each other and witness our growth and success.
I took the GG2WD in January 2012 and my life has completely changed! I’m now in the process of building a web design business as well as a life coaching practice, and moving abroad to enjoy my life more. All because I believed in myself enough to make this a reality. I’m proud to be part of this movement and I can honestly say that I’ve gained so much more than just web design skills. I’ve reinforced the belief in the possibility that I can DO ANYTHING and gained a killer community of powerful women!
Needless to say, I’m FOREVER grateful and I know that the possibilities are LIMITless.
PS: Everything you’ve wondered a question about web design, is addressed in this course. It’s super organized, efficient and so thorough. Thank you for all your hard work.
I went in to the Girl’s Guide to Web Design a wordpress hack and came out a CSS artist. All at my own pace, in the convenience and privacy of my home, and with generous support if/when I needed it. My site went from just another Thesis site to something I get glowing compliments on almost daily. I have a sense of accomplishment, community and have acquired a new skill I can share with the world. THAAAAANK YOU!!!
Ever since I learned what WordPress was, I wanted to build my own theme. I wanted a site that looked the way I wanted it to look, not another out-of-the-box looks-like-everyone-else’s template, but something I had created myself. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was a sort of personal holy grail for me.
I read books, tried to wrap my head around CSS, and even started a college-level computer science program, suffering through classes on telecommunications and database design when all I really wanted was to understand how to make my own beautiful WordPress site.
So when a friend told me about GG2WD, my jaw dropped. I was floored. I couldn’t believe there was a course out there that would teach me exactly what I wanted to learn…and for so much less than college tuition. Could GG2WD really be that amazing?
YES. It could. It is.
In a few short weeks, I went from tweaking the limited settings on a premade theme to building my own based on Thesis. CSS no longer scares me. I can poke around on websites I like, learn their design secrets — and then adapt bits and pieces to my own design. Rather than staring at a black box with no idea what’s happening inside, I can (and do!) dive in with glee. And now that my own business website kicks ass, I find myself looking for excuses to build more sites.
But I didn’t just learn a step-by-step formula for designing website. This course is so much more than that. What GG2WD gave me is a set of problem-solving skills that have literally expanded my options a hundred fold.
Fear? Gone. Intimidation? See ya. Frustration? Sayonara.
Empowerment? Why hello there, you gorgeous and addicting emotion. So glad we’re getting acquainted.
I’m a brand new student(only on chapter 3!), and am already so stoked I joined GG2WD. When I stumbled upon the course I was so tired of buying online courses and ebooks that never helped me get the job done. They were all fluff. No substance. That is SO not the case with GG2WD. It is literally a step-by-each-and-every-step course that is helping me build not only a beautiful site, but a functional and tech-savvy site as well. The tools and processes Amanda has shared are super useful. With each and every chapter I finish, I’m amazed at how much information she packs in. You learn WAY more than what she lists on the sign up page. She even provides all the Q&As from previous courses (an unexpected gold mine of tips and information). One of the best parts of the course is being a part of the GG2WD online tribe of knowledgeable women who are ready and willing to answer my stupid(strikethrough) burning questions and well as provide feedback on my website design BEFORE it goes live. What a beautiful thing! The most unexpected WIN that I’ve gained from the course is CLARITY. Before the course, I had a vague idea (and 20-something domain names to prove it!) about what I wanted my site to be about. After completing the site design portion of the course, my vision for my site is now CLEAR. And the best part? My site now reflects my very own soul. It wouldn’t have if I didn’t go through Amanda’s patented design process. Amanda has literally transformed the techie, scary, mind-boggling process of designing your own website into a fun, empowering, and mind-blowing process of self-exploration. She’s like an experienced friend who takes you by the virtual hand and guides you through the entire process. Thank you, Amanda, for sharing your genius! You’ve made it that much easier to unleash mine. I just wish I’d found GG2WD sooner!
GG2WD has been amazing, and it has given me the skills I need to take my business to the next level. I have been raving about GG2WD to other women while taking B-School this year, because there have been many people needing technical help with their websites. I couldn’t believe that I was the one who was able to give basic advice about coding (HTML & CSS), the WordPress platform, as well as, feedback about the Thesis theme and framework. I felt like a Pro Web Designer giving out basic web design advice. I enrolled in GG2WD so that I could re-vamp my existing Sustainable Landscape & Design website, as well as, build a new website for my new Creative Coaching Business. I had some basic HTML knowledge when I started, but I learned SO many new coding tips and tricks and learning CSS brought everything to a whole new level. My website(s) have been evolving ever since, and I think that the GG2WD program has taught me how to, not only take design matters into my own hands, but it has given me the knowledge to perform small tasks, one step-at-a-time, without having to spend thousands of dollars on hiring work out, and then having to wait for that work to get done, or even worse, be disappointed in the outcome. I go back to the program material quite often as a resource, whenever I need to update anything on my site(s), and Amanda and the GG2WD Support Gurus have also been a tremendous help, when I need a little push in the right direction…Thank You GG2WD, you ladies are awesome!!
Amanda and The Girls Guide to Web Design course have opened up a whole new world for me. In January 2013 I left my career as an ophthalmic assistant to pursue my dream of working for myself. As a virtual assistant I knew it would be important to have a website, and paying someone to create one was not in my budget. I struggled for a few weeks trying to get the look and feel I wanted, but without a good understanding of WordPress I was beginning to give up hope.
While searching for information on WordPress and web design I stumbled onto GG2WD and signed up for Amanda’s free newsletters. By the time the second one arrived and I worked through her amazing method of creating a header, I knew I had found the person to teach me to design a website that reflected me and my business goals. I am fairly tech savvy, but having never created a website I knew there would be a learning curve. I just didn’t realize how gentle it would be, thanks to Amanda’s expertise and step-by-step process, my site began to take shape. She starts out from the very basics and guides the student step by step in a logical fashion, learning each skill in a specific way in order to build upon previous information. Each video is “bite-sized” breaking the information down into easily learned pieces that don’t overwhelm the student. As I continued through the course and interacted with not only Amanda, but the other students and helpers on the forum, I became more and more excited by the possibilities of what I was learning, and what I could do to create a truly amazing website.
Amanda’s confidence and amazing positive attitude that she shares with each one of her students has helped me to feel empowered to change my focus as a fledgling business owner. I have gained the knowledge to start designing websites, even more importantly, I have found a passion I didn’t know I had. As a lifelong student I am continuing to increase my knowledge of website design and development and to structure my business to follow my passion and become a website designer and developer.
I work as a freelance user experience specialist, testing websites for other people. I’ve always wanted to be able to create my own WordPress sites but was always frustrated by my lack of technical knowledge. I’ve taken other courses and bought books on HTML but everything seemed very difficult. I signed up for Amanda’s course partly because I was curious about the rave reviews – the course write-up promised a lot and I was sceptical about whether it could really deliver.
The GGTWD course went way beyond my expectations. It’s structured around the natural process of planning and creating a website, and each lesson builds clearly on the one before. The videos walk you through everything. Before you know it, you are confidently doing technical stuff that you actually didn’t know existed! There are detailed Q&A screencast calls for each module which cover a vast range of practical information, all infused with Amanda’s lovely design sense. And then there is the Facebook support group, which provides help when you need it from a team of real people. Basically there is enough in there to take you from newbie to pro.
I’ve now designed two sites from scratch using the course. My second site was a complete redesign of my blog, with about a hundred posts already in there. I developed my new design away from public view and then flipped everything over right at the end. I am so proud of myself! I’m now considering adding web design to my services – the only snag is, I need to improve my graphic design skills. If only there was a program for that!
I would recommend the course to anyone who who’d like to know how to make their own site. If you have a little bit of technical knowledge, and you’re willing to get stuck in there and learn, you will be amazed what you can do. It is truly empowering. And fun.
The Girl’s Guide to Web Design is simply an outstanding course! I was completely immersed in the program for several weeks, so much so that at times I would choose to stay up until the wee hours of the morning working on my site and learning to code. Why? Because the course was so fabulously addictive and the expert guidance so incredibly easy to follow! I knew how amazing and exhilarating it was at the time, but honestly a year later I now fully comprehend how much it has completely changed my life. It has enabled me to begin a profitable business that I absolutely love. It has enabled me to build a close network of women from all walks of life – all with the same wonderful goal – taking steps to further our dreams. Best of all, it has enabled me to have complete confidence in my abilities and the level of accomplishment I can achieve. Who knew learning to code could do all that? I sure didn’t at the time I signed up for the class, but I would shout it from the rooftops now! I truly owe all of it to Amanda and her patience, teaching ability and heartfelt desire to help women succeed. Thanks again Amanda & company – you’re the absolute best!
Almost a year ago I started the Girls Guide to Web Design course, and to say that I am ‘untechy’ would be a gross understatement. In fact, in Chapter 1 when asked to take a screen shot of the before website, I pulled out my Nikon D90 (obviously on the automatic setting). Last week, I went back to Chapter 7 to place my new social media icons and thanks to Amanda’s brilliant teachings, I was able to go beyond the videos and test out my own different variations of coding in order to solve a problem. This course has made me extremely confident at dinner parties when tech conversations arise…I would even go as far as saying that I can be arrogant. Thank you Amanda for making me a GEEK!
The Girl’s Guide to Web Design is so much more than a course. It was the medicine my business needed to launch it to the next level. As an accredited Professional Co-Active Coach and a lover of all things digital, I struggled to find a way to combine techy with tender. Amanda’s course gave me the skills, her community gave me the support, and I gave myself permission to own my passion.
Here’s what I know now: I am an artist and the world [wide web] is my canvas.
I help women go deep, get real, get it right, and get it all online. I activate their web essence. I went from side-hobby-web-building to a full time web design business with an assistant and it would not have been possible without this course.
I heart my work. Thank you for empowering me to own my brilliance.
This course has changed my life! Sound cliche? Too bad! I only had non-wordpress design skills before entering this class and had never played in the world of CSS and HTML before.
This class gave me the confidence to not only create my site, but to launch the sites of other coaches and people in the health and wellness industry.
So my business took a turn for the un-expected. Now when I consult with clients on biz matters, I can give them design advice and even design their sites for them. This course has paid for itself 10 times over!
Thank you Amanda and the GGTWD team!
When I first started the course I felt I was the wrong student for GG2WD. Gaining the confidence to try what was being asked of me wasn’t always easy. Along the way I moved through the occasional frustration and came to have small victories. When I watched a video and then applied the lesson I was inspired to know more and my confidence grew. The supportive measures that were set up by Amanda in terms of personal and Facebook assistance means that nobody has to feel left behind.
This course is a journey you take in order to create something that is unique to you. Your personal stamp is all over it; GG2WD just facilitates your vision. What I found was that I had to get out of the way of myself in order to really get the creative juices flowing. I applied what I learned to my current site and intend in the future to apply even more ideas to a WordPress site developed by me from the ground up.
My business has taken on many incarnations as time has passed and I want to continue the process of cultivating real connections with visitors to my site. When you come across someone like Amanda who can develop a great course that brings all of that together, having your page reflect who you are and how you want your business to be shared, you know you have a winning recipe for success. GG2WD is worth your time, energy and money so GO FOR IT!
